Well we're in that odd limbo land again; Christmas is over and the New Year hasn't yet begun. The only thing that's certain other than the oppressive hold of turkey leftovers is a mash-up of the year's biggest hits! The King of Mash-Ups, DJ Earworm has once again risen to the challenge of providing us with our awesome annual audio amalgamation of the year’s pop music. “World Goes Boom” has been on repeat since I first heard it and comprises of 25 of the biggest tunes from 2011, Born This Way, Someone Like You and Firework all feature, and there is a cheeky bit of S&M too! Hope you enjoy this pop flashback and I wish you all Good Luck for the New Year!

"Once Upon A Christmas Song", is My Song of The Week. I hope you enjoy this amazing song which sums up our Christmas Pop Culture tradition from the greatest spoof artist ever! Peter Kay's Britain's Got the Pop Factor... and Possibly a New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly on Ice... was the birth of this "artist" who went on to release this song which reached No. 5 in the UK back in 2008! This has to be one of the most under rated festive tunes ever in my opinion so I hope you enjoy it!
I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
(In case you hadn't figured it out, Geraldine McQueen, is the Lancashire born comedian, Peter Kay, in drag!)

The Song Of The Week That Didn't Get Away...
Hello There My Little Bloggerists!
Again, this has been a really tough decision; but I think this song is just too hard to ignore. My Song Of The Week is sung by a very talented 27 year old lady from California! She may have kissed a girl and liked it but her third studio album released in 2010 has definitely been influenced by, now husband: Russell Brand. Yes, you guessed it! It’s the wonderful Kate Hudson Katy Perry!
The 6th song to be released from the album is entitled “The One That Got Away”! And is this week’s Song Of The Week, I don’t usually find songs or videos sad but I think this is a really powerful and moving piece of filmography and I highly commend her and her beautiful song. Keep up the good work Katy!

And You Can Tell Everybody This Is Your Song... Of The Week
I think it’s fair to say everything is feeling a bit more Christmassy now that it's December; and my “Song Of The Week” reached Number 2 in the UKTop40 Charts in December 2010! The song is a cover, originally from Sir Elton John's second, self titled, album from the year 1970.
This remake was a massive hit after appearing on the John Lewis Christmas advert and became one of her biggest selling hits to date! My Song Of The Week is of course “Your Song”, sang beautifully by the Herefordshire born wonder that is Ellie Goulding!

The Third Post
Bonjour!
I think it is fair to say after only 3.5hours of sleep I am suprisingly chirpy!
I don't really have much to blog about at the moment but I think its about time I did a new post. Therefore I shall introduce a new feature: SONG OF THE WEEK! Exciting I know. Now I'm not saying it will always be to everyone's taste or indeed that they are currently big songs, but none the less they are in my head and are making me dance!
Its beeen a tough one this week, we have had a few good tunes out Marry The Night, (Lady GaGa), Read All About It, (Pro Green and Emeli Sande). But this week I think it will have to be the barbadian beauty and scot song writer duo: Rihanna and Calvin Harris. With this month's dance floor anthem: "We Found Love".
The song has already hit the top spot in 15 charts and is certainly a tune you can dance the night away to. Some may feel that the song is a bit repetitive but I think that just adds to the allure of the track. There is a link to the song below and I hope you enjoy it as much as I am!

The Second Message! o.O
Why hello there!
It's no big secret that I am fan of music; that of course means I am also a fan Forbes' 11th most powerful woman in the world - Lady GaGa. I nearly dropped dead when I saw her single cover for Marry The Night on her Twitter Page, as I knew from that moment the video was going to be epic. Needless to say, "I wish that they had only given me the gummy bears".
I must say however, after the excitement of the "Marry The Night - The Prelude Pathètique", (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9oP_CKRUX4) the new trailer was a bit dissapointing. The 1minute 8second teaser shows Gaga struting into a dance practice room, warming up with her dance troupe, whom we have all become more than familiar with. She then proceeds into wobbling all over the floor and singing along. I'm sure there will once again be comparisons with Maddona, but to be honest... who cares? Gaga is the up-and-coming queen, so why not draw from her inspiration, and it is impossible to fault her singing, so Gaga: crack on! In conclusion, I think its about time she released it just so she can amaze the world with another amazing, I would say video, but its more than that, its an experience.
